America is the land of guns. With more than 350 million firearms coast to coast, it’s the most highly armed country on the planet. There’s more than one gun in circulation, for every single person in the country. The question is: what are they all being used for? 

Over the course of six episodes, this profoundly personal and timely documentary series will follow the lives and battles of six radically different gun owners across the country in order to answer that question. 

Gun Nation will be the highly cinematic story of six unique American characters, each in the midst of chasing a different dream, from searching for vengeance, to fame, power and prosperity, all intricately tied to guns. Through those journeys and the unexpected turns they take, the series will explore the deep and often conflicting undercurrents of American desire that frequently run through the pumping blood of our national gun complex.
